I was born in Cyprus in 1962. My mother was from Charleville in County Cork in Ireland. My father was from Tipperary Town also in Ireland. They came to England in the 50's. I was born in Cyprus because my dad was in the RAF (Royal Air Force), he was a steward in the Sergeants Mess. I was always interested in drawing as a young boy, when my dad bought a new shirt he would give me the smooth white card inside it, this was a real treat! The best surface ever to draw on. Well... I'm older now, but I'm still doing the same things, drawing and writing, trying to make sense of things. I don't know.
