MELVIN GALLAPON

Illustrator and Designer MELVIN GALAPON was born in the South of England in 1981, yet hails from Burnley a small town in the Northwest of England. Having just graduated from Central St. Martin's this year he has been able to build an impressive client list whilst studying consisting of Wallpaper*, The New York Times, THE GUARDIAN and HOWIES to name but a few. He's been profiled in 'Illustration/Play – Craving for the Extraordinary' published by Victionary, had work appear in 'A New Edge of Abstraction' published by Die Gestalten Verlag and has been featured in various magazines worldwide. Although his work is rather diverse he generally considers the relationship of technology and the handmade with a strong aesthetical understanding.

Melvin is currently based in London where he works on a mix of illustrations, installations and design work. At present he's preparing for a solo show that he hopes to be ready soon.
